AGM and Potluck Banquet

Hello UOV Families,

 

We will be holding the Annual General Meeting for UOVRA at The Wing (164 Argyle St. Renfrew) on May 5th beginning at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to attend the AGM. As stated in the bylaws there are two voting members per team that will be involved in the motions. If you would like to be a voting member please reach out to your team manager. 

 

A copy of the draft agenda can be found here. If there are any items you would like added to the agenda please let our secretary (secretary@uovringette.ca) know prior to Apr 30th. We will have multiple vacant Director positions on the board that we need volunteers to fill. Please consider putting your name forward for election at the meeting.

 

The potluck and banquet will be held immediately after the AGM beginning at 11:30am. Each team has been assigned different items to bring for the potluck - if you have any questions please reach out to your team manager. Parents are also welcome to volunteer their time in helping to tear down/set up in lieu of bringing a food dish if cost is prohibitive. Please let your team manager know so we can organize helpers.

 

During the banquet each team will be given a few minutes at the front of the hall to share a recap of their season and hand out any gifts (if previously coordinated by their teams).
