All volunteers are required to complete a vulnerable sector search. You must call ahead to make an appointment by calling the Renfrew OPP at 613.432.3211. Ensure you bring along two valid pieces of ID (birth certificate, driver's license, passport, etc.) and a pre-stamped envelop so they can mail the completed document back to you. Please ensure you note your full name on the Cover Letter and the position you are volunteering for.

Hello UOVRA Families,
We have some important updates to share:
ERRA Competitive Tryouts:
If your family intends to try out for competitive teams, please register with your home association (UOVRA) select the pay by cheque option (do not send the cheque), and complete the ERRA Competitive Tryout Registration online. If you require a tryout release please complete the Player Tryout Release Form. Expressing your interest as soon as possible will allow associations to have a better idea of the teams they will be fielding for the upcoming season.
Open Board Positions:
We recently held our 2020-2021 AGM on July 21st, 2021, the minutes from that meeting will be circulated shortly. We currently have many open/vacant board positions that must be filled if we are to have a successful season. There are many changes taking effect this season from Ringette Ontario, there is a lot of work to be done for us to be compliant and to meet the new requirements, we need all hands on deck!

Registration:
While we did not have an early bird registration this season, it is still very important to register early. The earlier folks register the earlier we can begin team formation and know the teams we will be able to field for the upcoming season. This allows us associations to develop a budget, plan for ice allocation and provide vital information to the NCCRL to get our season going.
